Making a monumental return, highly-regarded DJ and producer John Digweed is back with Bedrock Records’ third iteration of the 4-disc album compilation “Quattro”. Continuing the format of his previous compilations, John Digweed has cherry-picked some of the imprints’ most talented producers in an effort to deliver an exclusive blend of original, genre-bending tracks from the likes of Tokyo’s unique deep house and techno producer Satoshi Fumi, sci-fi techno Spanish duo Lopezhouse, Paris-Native house artist Captain Mustache, and techno powerhouse Quivver. Proving Digweed’s expert ear for what’s new in electronic music, the 43-track compilation album takes listeners on a journey through the sounds of Quivver’s mid-October release Revelate, Captain Mustache’s Indigo Memories, Satoshi Fumi’s Mysterious Phenomenon, and Lopezhouse’s Apollo.
“Quattro Artists” begins with Quivver’s 10-track LP Revelate, taking listeners into the cinematic experience ahead. Revelate brings forth a raw intensity like no other, with rhythmic, high-energy techno sensibilities, perfect for the late-night dancefloors. Captain Mustache’s love note to Detroit techno, Indigo Memories, follows, showcasing a fusion of dark and light sounds through its expansive electro-production. Rife with heavy synths, dark drums, soft vocals, and warped instrumentation, the offering delivers a transmissible fire and primes fans for the next disc.
